Instead of a flashy introduction and a thrilling name, the French manufacturer chose a conservative and instantly recognizable name: La Voiture Noire, or The Black Car.
There’s no need for further explanation, as the name speaks for itself. However, this car is still surrounded by wonder and carries a high price tag.
It features a carbon fiber shell that has been carved by hand, a quad-turbo W16 8.10L engine that produces 1500 horsepower, and can accelerate from 0-60 mph (0-100 km/h) in just 2.4 seconds.
Its top speed is 260 mph (420 km/h), and it is precision-engineered by an auto house known for producing the world’s most powerful cars for decades.
