4- Pagani Zonda HP Barchetta: $17.6 million
The Zonda was the first car produced by Pagani Automobili. Although the Huayra has become the company’s primary focus in recent years, Pagani has continued to produce multiple special editions of the Zonda.
The Zonda HP Barchetta was named after Horacio Pagani’s affectionate nickname for a small boat, as it resembled one in appearance.
This ultra-light car features a blue-tinted carbon fiber frame, and minimal windshield, and stands at just 21 inches (0.5 meters) tall at its highest point, giving it a speedy and agile feel.
Regrettably, the Zonda HP Barchetta is the most expensive car that is not available for purchase. Only three versions of the Zonda were ever produced, each with its own unique design and the last one sold for $17.6 million.
The Zonda HP Barchetta can accelerate from 0-60 mph or 0-100 km/h in just 3.4 seconds and has a top speed of 220 miles per hour (355 kilometers per hour).
