Stress is our body’s reaction to a challenge. Students all over the world experience covid stress especially during the time of exams.
Concentrating on studies might not be easy when we are home all day during the covid-19 pandemic. Studying at the time of pandemic is not that easy when the whole world is going through difficulties.
Most college students face a lot of stress. Whether it is the pressure to succeed, job deadlines, or fitting in with new friends, it is understandable to feel overwhelmed.
But when stress takes over, it is easy to become depressed and use unhealthy coping strategies that can hinder your success in the long term. Below are several stress management strategies to stay reasonable and optimistic.
I am a student of Class __________, I would like to share a few strategies which I adopted to manage the pandemic stress because it depends on us how we can get out of our difficulties.
Try using a checklist or notebook to stay organized and on top of things. Keeping a calendar can be difficult, so why not make your tasks more manageable by putting them in the same location? Look back at your calendar every now and then and make sure that you are still on top of what needs to be done.
Keep a list on your phone of everything that needs to be completed that day, whether it is assignments, study sessions, events, or groceries. You can use this for last-minute grocery lists or to jot down quick ideas for assignments.
This will help you to stay organized, focused and know exactly what you have to do for each day. When you feel overwhelmed by all of the commitments that you have, this will help you to stay calm and focused.
When you are stressed, it can be easy to become overly pessimistic and frustrated. Don’t let yourself fall into this trap. Think of the positive things that will occur once the stress is over.
It is easy to get caught up in the fact that the deadlines for your class are looming and that your job has been denied, but what would happen if you tried to remain positive?

Firstly, I used to pray to God that all humans be healthy. I stopped checking updates of coronavirus. It is understandable to keep informed and prepared about the pandemic.
At the same time, constantly watching or listening to media coverage can unnecessarily make us worry. So, I stopped watching updates about the pandemic.
I learned how to protect myself and my family from covid-19. We use to take all the precautionary measures. I used everyday activities as learning opportunities.
I listened to my online classes attentively. In the earlier days of staying at home, I use to have shorter learning sessions and gradually increase my learning sessions.
I have established an effective study routine by making a timetable. I didn’t spend much time on social media or playing games. I thought it would be a waste of time.
I use to turn off notifications from messages and social media. While I was reading, I use to put a “Do Not Disturb” Sign on my study room door.
Being physically active is so important. So, I use to do exercise and meditation. I learned the new hobby of gardening. Having nutritious food is very important for the brain. I use to eat healthy food.
When I felt bored or unfocused, I use to take short breaks, have some snacks and get back to study. It was a healthy discussion on various topics academically. I learned a new skill of cursive writing.
I used everyday activities as learning opportunities. I listened to my online class attentively. I use to maintain a calm mind and tried to understand the pandemic situation. I have established an effective study routine by making a timetable.
I didn’t spend much time on social media or playing games. I thought it would be a waste of time. I use to sleep for at least 6 to 8 hours to re-energize my body and mind.
I use to connect with my friends regularly through video chats. I use to connect with my friends regularly through video chats. It was a healthy discussion on various topics.
